The current EWS implementation does not support worker versioning with build IDs, another Pre-release feature. This incompatibility will be resolved before General Availability.

When using worker versioning with build IDs, Eager Workflow Start cannot be used in the current Pre-release implementation.

Recommended action:

1. Do not enable EWS if your deployment uses worker versioning with build IDs. 2. If both features are required, wait for General Availability when compatibility is planned. 3. Monitor Temporal release notes for updates on build ID support for EWS. 4. Consider alternative deployment strategies that don't require build ID versioning if EWS latency benefits are critical.
