Proxy configuration out of sync with control plane

Envoy proxy shows STALE status, indicating it has not received the latest configuration from the control plane, typically due to control plane overload or connectivity issues between proxy and Pilot

Run istioctl proxy-status to identify STALE proxies. Investigate control plane resource utilization and network connectivity between proxy sidecars and istiod. Check for Pilot errors in istiod logs.
